8 weeks in

It has been 8 weeks since Amber tragically lost her life to an unimaginable act of violence. Our family is carrying an immense weight of sorrow that will linger for years. Yet, in every step forward, we find comfort in knowing that God is with us.

Amidst the pain, there have been moments of joy. On Friday, we celebrated Auntie Jade’s 11th birthday and little Audri’s 3-month milestone. Both are precious. Audri, in particular, is incredibly alert and fills our days with her laughter.

We are also preparing for Miles to embark on his college journey out of state, and we deeply appreciate the love and support he has received. In the spirit of the new school year, JC will continue his college education and I am making steady progress toward my doctorate. May we all be blessed with the gifts needed to remain lifelong learners.
