Mother’s Against Violence Healing Ministry

Mothers Against Violence Healing Ministry is dedicated to providing support and resources to families and communities affected by violence. The group was founded in response to the constant grief experienced by families and communities due to the loss of loved ones to violence.

The organization focuses on connecting with and supporting mothers during their grieving process, offering a range of services such as counseling, support groups, and referrals to additional resources. By ensuring that mothers receive the help they need during this challenging time, Mothers Against Violence Healing Ministry aims to promote healing and prevent further violence.



Coburn Place

Coburn Place is a non-profit organization that provides safe housing and comprehensive support services to survivors of domestic violence and their children in the Greater Indianapolis area. The organization offers a range of services designed to help survivors rebuild their lives, including transitional housing, community-based housing, well-being services, and children's services. Transitional housing provides survivors with a safe and supportive environment to live in for up to two years, while community-based housing offers long-term affordable housing options. Well-being services include counseling, support groups, and referrals to additional resources, while children's services provide age-appropriate support and activities to help children heal from the trauma of domestic violence.


Legacy House

Legacy House Program is a non-profit organization that provides trauma-informed care to adults and children affected by various types of violent crimes, such as child abuse, domestic violence, sexual assault, robbery, and stalking. The organization offers a comprehensive range of services designed to support survivors in their healing process, including individual and family counseling, crisis intervention, victim advocacy, and community education. Additionally, Legacy House Program assists survivors with accessing violent crime compensation, obtaining temporary emergency protective orders, and finding shelter and social service referrals. The organization also provides information and assistance related to home address confidentiality to help ensure the safety and privacy of survivors.
